Mamili Children

The RainShine Foundation has been supporting the Mamili Primary school since 2019. It is a primary school with approximately 360 children in attendence. The village of Mamili (3 53’11.4″ N 26 44’09.8″E) is located about 35 kilometres from a town called Amadi Democratic Republic of Congo. We also support a small outpost class for grade 1 and 2 in a very, very small village called Zalika, which is about 6 kilomotres north of Mamili.

Grade 1

Aladjigi is 8 years old and has 1 brother and 1 sister. His favourite subject is English and he likes to eat fish and rice. Aladjigi told RainShine that he wants to be a Secondary school teacher.

Grade 2

Latiwa is 6 years old and has 2 sisters. Her favourite subject is French Conjugation and she likes to eat banana and fish. Latiwa told RainShine that she would like to be a Headmistress when she grows up.

Grade 3

Fiezalo is 8 years old and has 1 brother and 1 sister. His favourite subject is English and he loves to eat fish and rice. Fiezalo told RainShine that he would like to be a Secondary School Teacher when he grows up.

Grade 4

Meet Angotolua who is 9 years old and her favourite subject is Mathematic Operations. Her favourite food is fish and rice and she has 2 brothers. Angotolua told RainShine when she grows up she would like to be a Headmistress.

Grade 5

Meet Batsere who is 13 years old and his favourite subject is French Grammar. He has two brothers and enjoys eating banana, legumes and fish. Batsere told RainShine when he grows up he would like to be a Construction Engineer

Grade 6

Meet Yangi who is 12 years old and her favourite subject is French Receitation. She has 2 brothers and 2 sisters and enjoys eating Cassava, rice and fish. Yangi told RainShine that when she grows up she would like to be a Seamtress.
